Martin Luther King Jr. Day

I was so proud of Lydia at dinner a few nights ago. We were all having dinner and Lydia was talking about a documentary she saw at school on MLK.....in the first grade...impressive. So my mom asked her why MLK was so special? Lydia (hand motions included) said it used to be that the white kids were in school over here...and the black kids had to go to school over here....and Martin Luther King was trying to make it so the white kids and the black kids could all play together.
